• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Seeing them too but in Brixton Academy

Saw Decapitated last night

Do you like the band Low? They play Cardiff this Autumn. Not sure what venue though, so I would think Tramshed.

That's a shame for you Darran, last time Alice Cooper toured the UK, The Tubes were the support iirc.

Rick Wakeman, St George's Church Hall, Beckenham on Her Maj's jubbly day. Should be a good evening. Only 300 capacity

That would be amazing.

2017, Alice Cooper, The Mission & The Tubes did 5 UK dates

Went up to Birmingham for that show , Unfortunately The Tubes were first on and most of the audience were either finding their seats , chatting or at the bar whilst they done their show . The downside of being an opening act .

I've just stuck my Ed Sheeran tickets back up for sale it's a pity but since we've got the hound, and seeing as we don't really have a support network here nowadays, it feels the easiest option to Never Bloody Go Anywhere. Oh well.

Checked the tramshed date and can't make it sadly. Thanks for the alert though.

My mate sae them in Brighton this week and said they were class.

Gutted I missed out on seeing Grandaddy and the lost machine orchestra last week. Could not make any of the shows and my mate Stevie (Malojian) was supporting. Was offered passes for London Palladium and Albert Hall Manchester too. Seen the youtube vids though and man they are class. Played all of the Sophtware Slump LP and a few other GD classics. Was gutted to miss out on meeting up with a few old friends including a few who flew in from Canada and the US.
