• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

How long are calf muscle injuries normally?

How longs a piece of string, depends on hoe deep the injury is, is it just a pull or is it a tare, had a grade 3 tear yrs and years ago, couldn't walk for 10 days, only thing that came close to the pain experienced was when I bust my shoulder although a back injury I had took some beating.

So to summarise it could be a couple of weeks or it could be months.

Yeah, I had a full tear. A sod isn’t it? I was on crutches for a week. Still got a hole in my calf the size of a small fist and all the other muscles around it ache like a sod after exercise, and that’s 5 years on.

If he’s walking on it, he’ll be fine fairly soon.

I didn't have crutches just limped for a month and had physio 3 times a week for that month, pain was excruciating on times, I've had a few bad muscular injuries over the years, none were a pleasant experience of course although the affects of the Diazepam was quite nice

The issue with calf injuries is they end up being very niggly.
