Pederson played how many minutes?
I’m not ‘in the know’ in any way, shape or form but earwigged a conversation a while back. Ginnelly mentioned and they were saying he was a model pro and a good guy. Some posts on Twitter hinting he's a bit of a bad one behind the scenes.
Anyone heard anything?
Was it his mother and wife you overheard having the conversation?I’m not ‘in the know’ in any way, shape or form but earwigged a conversation a while back. Ginnelly mentioned and they were saying he was a model pro and a good guy.
He’s not the model pro, he’s a very naughty boyWas it his mother and wife you overheard having the conversation?![]()
Think the only time I saw Ginnelly play was the game he got injured.I spoke to a Hearts fan on holiday earlier this year he had nothing but good things to say about him described as a great guy and couldn’t believe he had been out so long for us.
Just one of those things, i saw him in the Carabao cup game and thought we had signed a great player even though he was on as a sub, just pure bad luck.
The same thing happened with MGW although nobody speaks badly of him.
Where he looked excellent until he was kicked to bits. Achilles type injuries are notorious and he probably lost a lot of pace with it. I have no idea why he’s been left behind, but he obviously needs to get away now. Ditto Jenny. Both turned out poor signings, both looked worth a punt when they were bought. As did Walsh. Pedersen on the other hand was inexcusable. Shit journeyman player all career, and everyone except whoever bought him for us knew it.Think the only time I saw Ginnelly play was the game he got injured.
I still think Yates has a role see. You need three or four striking options to compete at the top of this league and he's a decent bench optionWhere he looked excellent until he was kicked to bits. Not much the club could really do to vet this in fairness, he got his achilles kicked to bits against Sheffield Wednesday, it was a bit of a freak one. Such a shame for him, on a personal noteA disastrous signing, one of many over the last several years.
To be fair none of us thought he was a disastrous signing when he got up to speed (he joined late in the window and had a knock in pre season) after scoring that 30 yard screamer in the cup. Or when he was tearing Sheff Wed to shreds, so much so that their players kicked him off the park and the ref did nothing to protect him.A disastrous signing, one of many over the last several years.
If you only play with one up top then you don't need 3 or 4 striking options.I still think Yates has a role see. You need three or four striking options to compete at the top of this league and he's a decent bench option
I'm going by the fact he's been left behind. Or is he injured? Otherwise I really do think he, Cullen, Vipotnik are all much of the same meh quality. Can do good things, and do, but would you want to rely on them to score goals for you regularly? Cullen doubles up as a meh midfielder as well of course, so for me, he's the bench option if we had someone better as first choice.I still think Yates has a role see.
