We went to the memorial site a few years ago. Very moving.

A few names of victims.

I just read a dreadful statistic that more firefighters have died of related health issues than those killed on the day.

I went there when the memorial site was being built - and even then it was very moving. Also visited St Paul's Chapel, which is less than 100 yards from the towers, and survived their collapse.

This chapel became a haven for rescue and recovery workers at Ground Zero, and contained thousands of stickers, letters and pictures left by bereaved family members. 😥
