• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I’ve seen so many grown ups getting worked up about this bridge that I’m starting to question my sanity.
People must have incredibly sad lives.

People complain about nothing ever getting built in Swansea (ignoring all the building work going on around the city), then the same people complain when something does get built that they don't like it. A large percentage of those complaining about this would be complaining no matter what was built. Gives them something to do I suppose.

I could agree more. Complete and utter knobheads.

Bridge over the barrage is blue but never heard a single person complain about that

Drove under it yesterday afternoon and thought if looked pretty good. Guess we'll have to see how it fits in with all the development around it, but for now I like its originality.

It looks quite enclosed; private. I'm thinking if my mugging career is ever going to get back on track post-Covid I may need to switch my operations here.

Blue ?

Blue ?

I'm outraged, why isn't it white ?

Only Swansea Council would call it Copr Bay whilst painting it's landmark feature gold. Would've looked much better in a burnt orange

Saw it last night on the way home,to be fair, it looks better lit up, than it does in the day, apparently the current lights are only temporary.Still dont like the colour mind.🥴

It's more matt mustard than gold. But perhaps that's to avoid the sun glinting off it into drivers' eyes.
