You're not kidding. What was the speculation for Ellis Sims, wasn't it around £7m? They've spent almost £8m on some American striker who flopped in the Dutch league and has only scored goals in Denmark and Turkey. £15m ish on two strikers is huge money for a team in this division who aren't receiving parachute payments.

In many ways we have benefitted from flying under the radar somewhat the past season or two and being the "nearly made the playoffs" team last year. Other than RM being poached (which I think a majority on here including myself were happy with towards the end) and the rather unsavoury exit of Ntcham it feels to me like our steady performers haven't drawn the attention that others have from other teams that were there or thereabouts with the playoffs.
