Gyokeres

Tbf the service is at an all time low. Back to the days of Paul Clement

He’s running the channels because we’re lumping the ball forward. That leaves him out wide when we need him in the middle.

He’s playing with his back to goal outside the penalty area. Has he had a single decent ball to attack in the area from open play?

He looks like a fish out of water because he’s not suited to our style of play. Not his fault.

That's pretty much it I think. We're missing MGW already as he was linking in nicely with the lone striker. Hope Cooper knows how to bring all these new players together or it could be a bit of a miserable season.

I think we need to rejig the formation currently we seem to be playing 5-2-2-1 I think we would be better off 3-4-2-1

Gyokeres

Ayew Lowe/Palmer

Bidwell Roberts

Fulton Smith

Guehi Cabango
Bennett

Woodman/Benda

Grimes needs some time on the bench! I know I ll get pelters for naming Fulton in the starting line up but he does put his foot in and can unleash a shot MY "graphic doesnt seem to work......Gyokeres up top then Ayew and Lowe/ Plamer playing behind him in a triangle, midfield of Bidwell and Roberts out wide Fulton and Smith in front of back 3 off Guehi, Bennett and Cabango Pass and move Cabango Smith Roberts and Lowe to Gyorkes simarly the other side Guehi Fulton Bidwell Ayew.

We lost a CH who could pick a pass and who got out quickly in the centre of defense. we have plugged the gap well in my opinion but need time to settle but have paid the price. Grimes is not playing that badly its just that we are not getting through the lines quick enough, couple this with teams working out Conor and Jake the last couple of games and Ayew playing in diver boots we struggle to find an out ball. Palmer looks as if he has something about him but doesnt look fit at the moment, i hope we change it but that might take a formation switch Cooper hopefully is working on it as we speak.

Starting to warm to him. A front three of Gyok, Lowe and Ayew with White in behind could see a lot of goals in future.

Gyok is good at backing into defenders and the other three will benefit from that attribute.

Lowe and Ayew are consistent and White was impressive and will be missed.

With Gyok in amongst these three the manager has a strong attacking threat and apears to have buikt a strong squad.

Huddersfield was hopefully a blip but Bristol have had a similar blip.

Reading are getting away, good thing is Lowe and Ayew are scoring which hopefully allows Gyok to play with some freedom and passion and bag some goals which will help him settle in.

Spot on, we create very little - we have no cutting edge and minimal incisive passing.

we are entirely predictable to watch for most of the 90 minutes of each game

Yup. Bet Lowe nearly had heart failure when he was played through yesterday. And a good finish. That's his one bit of service for four games now

I'm still trying to figure out where Gyokeres is best played - the two he has started have been midfield but I thought he was a forward?
