• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Has he gone? Or if not when will it happen?

Oh I'm sure he would resign though if he could go to WBA. I'm sure he'd walk to Birmingham with his nuts in a clamp to get the job, but he won't want to because we'd sue him - just like his mentor - for breach of contract.
I hope he does, I'll be gutted if he stays.

We're probably getting to the point where we'd accept his resignation so he can bugger off there just to save us the cost of sacking him.

Part of me suspects we only really pursued Martin as strongly as we did because he wouldn't stop shitstirring after he left.

If he does then join wba it's going to be another court case just like the Martin saga

£1.8m compo if he goes supposedly, what a bizarre situation, he’s screwed himself over for fans and club owners in the future

This has turned into a sorry state of affairs. I'm in the camp which believes that WBA won't want him (they will want him even less after seeing his behaviour), we cannot really afford to sack him and then pay to recruit a suitable replacement, and he has royally pissed on his Swansea chips. Why us?

Christ, if we get 1.8m for that peanut, we should get the bubbly out.

It's starting to look ominous now.
What worries me is the circus that has developed will make WBA stand back and wait for a sacking.......leya face it, looks like there is no going back now.

Right now I just want him gone.
Nobody could be THAT clueless to not know what impression his interview responses would give.
I have Asperger's and part of that is a fundamental inability to read between the lines or read a room and even I could smell the bullshit he is smoking.
