• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Has he gone? Or if not when will it happen?

Oh dear lord. This has to be a joke.
Thank you sending this over. I mean this is telling me why things are going wrong. Doesn't he think Grimes or players will be questioning this approach. It's super strange. Jesus. He really has lost me now.
I have no doubt that it left many others scratching heads, not withstanding the fact that we absolutely smashed QPR for 45 minutes.

We can but hope that the next incumbent is unfamiliar with the word "process", has never worked with Russell Martin and, perhaps most crucially, understands that ball carrying midfielders don't automatically make good wingers.

As a disclaimer, the odds in a betting market of this size are mostly meaningless because a few punts can change the odds dramatically but…Williams is now 1/4 with Sky Bet to be the next WestBrom manager. He was 6/5 earlier today and 3/1 a day or so ago.

There may not have been an official approach to the club, but let’s not pretend that “someone” hasn’t had conversations with Williams from West Brom.

Or the word possession.

Or the word possession.
I don't mind possession lol
Rodger's built his Swansea side on the premise of about 60-65% possession
Laudrup built his cup winning team with about 55-60% possession

Its possession for the save of possession that is the folly
Theres no use having 75% possession and like one shot on target the whole game

Or the bloody 'Swansea Way' and its various corrupted meanings and incarnations.
Any of these word pop up in the interview process and they should shut it down there and then.

I prefer, goals scored. 😉

Yeah if you don't have the ball it's tough to score a goal. All about what you do with it, as an old girlfriend tried to explain to me. It felt alright to me so I wasn't really listening.

Sorry could you explain that, it's not something I've heard lately.
Is it another way of describing "actions"

😁
It's an urban myth.

Apparently we used to play football with purpose, the purpose of scoring goals.

These days it is about how long we can keep the ball whilst boring everyone to death.

Apparently the reporter from their local Express and Star saying he is not in the running
