• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

You know you can move them to a different car?

Anyway, don’t have one, don’t want one, but some are good. Someone that lived quite close to where I used to live had two cars (RR and Aston) that had the two plates
2 BE
NOT 2BE

In other words Lisa is saying look at me I live in a posh area. 👀

No. Close to a posh area 😂

London changes from normal to posh to slum in a heartbeat…

I used to see those cars when I lived in Fulham (very ordinary) years ago and those cars were on the Chelsea Embankment at Cheyne Walk (very posh). I used to drive past them every morning on my way to work.

London is where it's at; I wouldn't swap it for the Gower Peninsula for all the tea in China, though. 🫶
I wouldn't live in London either, Horsham areas above Brighton or Sevenoaks in Kent are lovely places, but a cupboard box in either of those two places would cost you half a mill or more.

The secondary market for these things is worth billions. The government flogs the bulk of the lower value ones relatively cheaply. The more desirable ones go to auction and the secondary dealers are big business.

I used to live not far from Sevenoaks, lovely down there.

No I agree.

Sometimes needs must though when you’re younger. And then you build your life somewhere. When I moved to London almost 40 years ago it was the only option work wise for what I wanted to do,

Hoping to move out next year.

Home is where the heart is Lisa, a glass of wine will be waiting for you in the Black Boy (or the Commercial) 🫶
