• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

For years I used to keep the stub end's of my flight tickets, from Cardiff/ Bristol/ East Midlands to Glasgow and back, used to keep them in my bedside draw and reflect on every trip, then one day I moved out and forgot to take them with me, so many happy memories lost to a house clearance firms skip 😪

Collecting records as I have done for years, just wish i had kept a few 80's first pressings which I stupidly got rid of.

I got rid of my football programme collection when I emigrated. And that was a watershed moment in terms of filling up the house with stuff. Marrying an obsessive de-clutterer means I'm unlikely to ever relapse.

My mate has a loft full of programmes, boxes of football shirts, tickets, all kinds of footy-related stuff; even a grotesque* John Hartson doll.

*No disrespect meant, John, if you're reading.

Same here in selling a load of now valuable studd-but recently sold some of my 'Sarah Records' vinyl for a decent amount. Most I made was £140 on a CD copy of Radiohead's 'Drill EP' and £100 for the original double vinyl(with the demos disc)
