• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

It amazes me that people in these positions can make such stupid decisions. I'm sure everything she did was legal, but did she not stop to think what the optics were on the Homelessness Minister giving tenants notice on a property and then massively inflating the rent?

It was a simple misunderstanding over one key responsibility in her role.

Another one in a growing list of resignations by senior politicians. Starmer was keen to point out how Labour would be clean, but they’ve been far from it. The country is run by people too far out of their depth, hardly surprising though considering what we are paying MP’s. The system needs an overhaul, quality over quantity, and pay them a salary aligned with the level of astuteness required.

Legal, yes, but also a distinct lack of morals.

100%. You have to question her common sense, while her actions were completely legal and above board, as a minister you have to talk the talk and walk the walk and she’s been found out. In reality, for the sake of around 3k after tax she’s been made to look like idiot and has brought the government under the spotlight for the wrong reasons. Common sems3 isn’t that common!

And wouldn’t be legal if we had decent laws to stop landlords absurd profiteering. Property tax in its widest sense, is exactly where this pair of hapless arseholes (Starmer and Reeves) need to look to plug their mythical ‘black hole’.
