Realistically what is everyone hoping for from the January window?

What do we assume to be the level of maturity of our list of targets? If my memory is correct then Andy Scott was around until November, what was his scouting g framework and how does it compare to the dossiers of Mark Allen?

Martin has mentioned square pegs in round holes on more than one occasion so what and who does he have in mind?

We need the bare minimum of a keeper, midfield creativity, second striker option, someone with pace who can stretch / change a game. I will happily take these four, anything more is a bonus.

I still wonder what the loan market will really look like. Given the increase in Covid cases and the extra pressure on fixture lists going forwards does it take out players who may move closer to the fringes of their various squads?

We definitely need what you stated above but outside of the loan market that dramatically limits our options?

I didn’t want to mention the loan market specifically because it annoys me somewhat that we could take an unproven Greenwood on loan, at the expense of our own Whittaker who could have benefited from the game time afforded to Cullen.

Tad concerned we are recruiting players to fit a playing style that does not yet have a successor to Kyle or even a replacement unless Downes or Grimes can slot in at the back which they have shown they can.

Transferring the ball playing back to the keeper will hopefully get us through the season.

In the face of growing restrictions and the realisation that Williams does not appear to be a Koeman type player I would have no issue going four at the back and forget a complete overhaul in capability this season.

Such a scary statement - where we are reliant upon a replacement for an aged Naughton. And at CB, ffs.

That statement in itself ought to be the wake up call for any half-witted football fan here.

There seems to be growing realisation here, where posters are now reverting to a compete overhaul, that Martin's Plan A is complete and utter BS.

Well done to those that are now slowly catching on.

MKDons have certainly cottoned on, darned quick, with a proper young manger.
