I am responsible for my mates son supporting the Swans and despite being about 14 years old now i still think of him as that 10year old so innocent and supporting the team no matter what and full of optimism.
I texted him earlier about the Modric news and how much i had enjoyed the games since the departure of Luke Williams.
He replied at first “Yes it has been fun to watch again’
The following text then arrived when i realised that both the Swans and myself had destroyed his childhood and innocence..”But you know how it goes things look up for a while and then it all goes back to normal”
