How Much Each Swans Player Gets? Check it out!

Cooper is on L2 wages... comparing Franco and LOB earnings is very eye watering.
Don't think we can/ it would be fair to compare LOB wages to anyone given its not our contract and we are only obligated to cover it as part of the loan deal. We would never be paying him that amount if he was actually contracted to us

I'm not saying I think he's a championship player or that he's any good, in fact its the opposite, i don't rate him at all. Its just that he's been playing in the team for years, and so is probably on higher wages.
Regardless where he's from etc

I get that but my point is they are both in our midfield doing equal jobs shoring up weaknesses where one earns £42K more per week for what is the same workload.

Just shows a lot of football fans don't earn £50K per year yet fork out high ticket prices to watch a team with players earning yearly earnings in one week.

Can you imagine that wage disparity in the corporate job world ..

All business sense goes out of the window in the football world.

It's obscene the amount of money players get today and it's down to football club owners

It's also down to supporters.

We're spending so much more beyond our means on players that upwards of £10m a season needs to be put in, yet everywhere you can read people whining about us signing "League One players", or criticising how little "investment" is made.

A football club ownership that only spent what a club could generate in income, especially at this level, would very rapidly be utterly loathed by their own supporters. It's what we do. Demand more and more signings, more and more expensively recruited and paid players.

If be more than happy with Cooper if all we were using him to do was come on late in games to add some terrier energy. To snap at the heels of opposition players and close out games. He's good at that.

Sadly he's lacking everywhere else. He's not a #10 or a winger. He just hasn't got anything like the level of technical ability to be able to do that at this level.
I generally agree, which makes the fact he looked better than Eom or Ronald when he came on against Burnley even more depressing.

I also take these figures with a pinch of salt, but if it's true that Forest gave O'Brien £50k a week when they were promoted, then it's no surprise they fell foul of spending rules last season.

For me Eom was better than Ronnie, and Ronnie was better than Cooper, although none of them were great. The former two could at least control the ball.

What was frustrating me in the first half was that any time a wide player had the chance to cross the ball (Eom, Ronald, Key, Tymon), the delivery was awful every time. With Cooper, he put in at least one or two crosses that had the chance to lead to an effort on goal.

T8AD365 and I were separately asking you a reasonable question - where did you get these figures, which would definitely be confidential.

Or are they what you are guessing? Top trolling if you did.

Easily found if you know where to look. Not always gonna be accurate but lines up with research and what had been reported bar maybe the odd figure. For instance Franco is on a little more than stated in the report and Cooper is a few grand more but not much more. It's average estimate.

Example estimate is 13 million a year spend while report above is around 11 million. So pretty close.

Yes fully agree and it won't change unless the mindset of all owners change.

At the moment it's investing money lost, whichever way, as it's going to players and agents.
