Quick update.
I was due to be transferred to Mountain Ash YCC last Thursday but oncologist was concerned about my infection markers so had a chest x Ray and it showed a big build up of fluid next to my lung. A chest drain was installed and thankfully after 6 days it’s coming out today. Yesterday’s chest x Ray showed no fluid as did the ultrasound.

Next step is mountain ash for physio ready to see my oncologist at velindre.

Keep going mate. 2 steps forward and one back will be frustrating but will get you there in the end.

So since my last update I’ve had a battering. I had a chest drain put in to clear fluid away from my lung. 6 litres in total. Then I got a nasty chest infection and last Friday told i had Covid. Was put in isolation on the dreaded ward 6 in a room with no ventilation as the window would not open, no tv, and half the plug sockets broken. Late with meds so left in pain. Staff were lazy and rude.

Yesterday I got transferred to mountain ash YCC which is like BUPA in comparison as they can’t do enough for you. I start physio tomorrow then go to velindre for the first time next week.

I’ve been on so many drugs I don’t know what day it is. I didn’t know we played last night until I saw the news today.

Bloody hell Eb.. fresh air and ventilation is key to your immune system to kick in and fight.. needs reporting that IMO

Loads of us haven't met you buddy, but rest assured we are all rooting for you. Times like this hang onto the positive stuff in yer life and just fight with everything you got.

You are right, but for the wrong reasons (if that makes sense).

Anyway get well soon. We are all behind you.

*Breaking News*

Ebo watched the football with a sexy little nurse last night and they then had a shower together this morning.
