Theyre business men, theyre not going to run the club into the ground cause their shares will be worth squat, but theyre gonna make a little money off us because of their investors
But weve released 4 players and spent just under 2 mil, so are -1.8m transfer revenue atm so not sure what the whole stripping thing is about
Scott Sinclair was a record signing for us for 500k 11 years ago and most of our transfers were frees or loans

Agreed, the asset stripping stuff is bollocks. Fans are understandably frustrated, so it's one way to vent some steam. It's been pointed out time and again that all the released finances since the Yanks took over show they are not 'taking money out of the club'. They're not putting any in either, despite what the sellouts suggested with their talk of 'next level', but that's a different argument.

Do I think the Americans have been good owners? No I don't and Phil's comments about Kaplan's mistakes regarding transfers is worrying.

Do I think they're lining their pockets with the club's money? Again no I don't, because to date there is absolutely nothing been produced to support that.

Exactly, no foreigners are going to come in and pump their own money into a club they give 0 fvcks about
They bought the club with the intention of keeping us in the prem as thats where theyd make most profit
I dont like the owners or the cvnts who sneakily sold their shares to make money from the club they supposedly love, but if they asset strip they still wouldnt make their money back for the shares they bought, they have to make us sustainable and profitable while challenging to get promoted again
If we get relegated again thats worse for them than for us because their shares will be about 10% of what they invested, maybe even less
Ayew off the books is a big step, was a massive mistake to sign him for the price and wage we did, shows Jenkins didnt give a damn
But thats over 4 million off the books with just one player, the equivalent of signing a player for 3 mil and having them on Grimes' wages every season
The fact we're buying and not sold yet is an indication that we're in a good spot atm financially, and i fully believe if Grimes does go, most of the money will be reinvested back into the squad for the new manager

I would suggest that good owners do invest in clubs ie Brentford, Bournemouth and Stoke, Stoke may have made a mess of that investment but thats another story. The Americans are awfull owners and have been a disater for this club, where is the next level? . The league 1 arguement is an interesting one but I fear the yanks see this club as a money pit and will not put any money in regardless. I firmly believe that if you think the Grimes money will be reinvested you are in for a dissapointment. LIke the Rodon, James, Mc Burnie etc money.

I would argue that if the Yanks were interested in moving the club forward they would have bought Cooper a new striker. We could have picked up Ivan Toney for £5 million the previous season who would either have fired us to the premiership or we could have sold for a massive profit and lots of that lovely money that the yanks love so much. That Cooper wouldnt have had a to carry the can for the style of play either.

I dont know whether they have asset stripped the club or not, I would suggest that not everything turns up in the accounts. You would neeed a forensic accountant to go through everything something the yanks arent going to allow any time soon.

It seems to me that many on here forget what it costs to run a club of our size. The general running costs and the wages have to be paid before any talk of investing in the squad and this without parachute payments and no crowds through the turnstiles last season. A reality check by some fans wouldn't go amiss.

It was shortly after 5.30pm and he didn't hold back on his thoughts on the Americans......"totally fleeced the club they have "

"Embarrassing departure by mutual consent of cooper"

We are a f*****g shambles at the moment.

Walsh has never missed a chance to rubbish the Swans.
For at least 12 years he's claimed we would be relegated, we couldn’t stay in the PL without spending megabucks.
The number of times I’ve heard him slag us off on Radio Wales, even after winning, is sickening. Even Nathan Blake used to regularly lay into him for it.
Taking Walsh's words on the Swans seriously is like listening to Farage commenting on the RNLI.

The accounts are independently audited every year. It's a legal requirement for businesses of the size of The Swans to do so for tax purposes. It's specifically the job of an auditor to find things like undeclared income or monies withdrawn that should have been declared as taxable income and sign off on the fact that the accounts are accurate. This verification usually appears in the first few pages of the published accounts.

So basically what you want happens annually with no issues.

Right?
Before prem money we were one of the lowest spending, lowest waged clubs in the championship
All this 'the owners havent spent money' is stupid, Jenkins and co never spent money, in fact they put us in debt before they left, but it was always live within our means, stick to our philosophy, run the club well
The sooner we go back to our style, and are smart with signings who want to play the Swansea way, the better for the club on a whole
