I’ve never once suggested we should buy Colwill, and wouldn’t now either.

Callum Chambers played Prem Lgue all his career until he joined them this season. Given financial rules in league 1 I would expect there to be a for sale sign on him. They can only spend 60% of income on wages this season. They are currently running 100% 23m income 23m wage bill.

Callum Chambers was never a Premier League footballer after Jeff took him apart, then took him apart again, and again, and again…..

Never the same player after that.

I genuinely he may be able to push on with us. And buying Welsh players is a plus for me.

Plus it would really annoy them…

He is useless… it really says something that he still can’t get in this Cardiff team.

Plus Bellamy, who knows Colwill inside and out from coaching him through the youth ranks also overlooks him in favour of Oli Cooper and this new lad in Scotland.

He has some raw talent, but his football brain, positioning, decision making is non existent.
Coaches must have been telling him this for years trying to change him, but to no avail.

Colwill is our Cameron Congreve, would love to see both make the grade, but will probably be a good career move to get out of thier comfort zone. Plenty of talent in both players.

You’ve seen him far more than I have so will accept your view. I’m going probably on reputation and bringing Welsh players in where possible.

Speaking to season ticket holders in work and they’ve been frustrated that he hasn’t grabbed his chance this year. Says he’s more than decent when things are going well, but doesn’t get stuck in when they’re on the back foot, which has pretty much been all season. The boy has talent no doubt about that, but his application is not.

Sounds like he needs a change of club.

We have developed players with talent but who are not fulfilling their promise before. And those whose application is suspect.

Anyway, I’m sure we won’t take him but of all their players he’s the one I’d be tempted to take a punt in. Most of them are utter rubbish.
