Good words Phil. It does make you think what goes through peoples minds that they think it's acceptable. I wont say fans as many might not give football a second glance normally, but will use any opportunity to vent their racial hate. Many could well be fans, as we know that there will be a percentage that follow football (it's been around for years) Lip service is given to the issue time and time again. It is a football problem but more importantly it's a society problem. So much is taken as being acceptable in football, some is genuine banter, but hidden in it, for some, is genuine hatred. It says a lot about these people who are so single mined in hatred, and it is all consuming. There are of course the others that do it to look clever and be ' look at me'. We are so far away from the answer, is the intent really there?
