Heartless, uncaring, unsympathetic bunch of Cvnts!!

"The DWP offered condolences to Philippa’s family and said it would “carefully consider” the coroner’s findings. A Capita spokesperson apologised “for the mistakes made in processing her claim and the additional stress which was caused to Philippa” and said it would “act upon” the coroner’s findings."

"The Capita spokesperson added: “We have strengthened our processes over the last 18 months and are committed to continuously working to deliver a high-quality, empathic service for every claimant.”

This is the recording, which DWP lawyers attempted to prevent being released to the media, but the coroner overruled their request!!

Fucking scum of the earth.
They’ve just given Carers a pay rise of 35p a week too.
It absolutely beggars belief what’s going on under this Tory scum.

There needs to be more visible support in the community to navigate the claims process for these things, the government couldn't make it any more difficult. Help does exist but you need to know where to look. If she had a Support Worker, none of this would have happened.
Worst thing you can do when dealing with the DWP is get emotional because you're just a number to them and they don't give a fuck.

The DWP are supposed to implement their 6 point plan when 'claimants express suicidal intent' they should have called the old bill. The woman should be fired and charges brought.

Its estimated 40 billion has been fraudulenty claimed in the form of furlough and business loans since covid relief money started being paid out
Lets hope the government investigate that with the same venom they investigated the poor and disabled in this country , paying billions to American companies to do it

All they'll do is give the callous bitch further training, but it won't change her thoughts or actions

She made no note on Philippa’s file of the level of distress she was in, and she told the inquest ...

"That she had heard many claimants crying and saying similar things before"

I can't upvote this enough. As I live in a deprived part of Swansea I had access to Communities First (since killed off) who sent out a support worker to help fill out the paperwork. He knew the system back to front; what was being asked and how it should be answered. All assessments went through without a kick back and I have absolutely no doubt that wouldn't have been the case had I been left to my own devices filling it out

Honestly, the last thing a sickly person needs is that application form being dropped on their lap and being told to get on with it. There's a jungle of information to go through and the entire process, along with ridiculous waiting times, is torturous

She isn't the person to be angry at IMHO
