• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Yes, wrong to do that by the West Ham owners, not something arranged by Potter.
Looking at the Hammers owners that's par for the course.
If you're looking at it morally then an incoming football manager shouldn't negotiate his position until the currently contracted manager is dismissed but it really happens all the time.
Old manager dismissed & the new one announced within a day or so because its already been arranged.
Whether the negotiations are taking place at the training ground or a nearby hotel, is there a difference? all fairly sh1tty.
Potter was just as culpable to let it play out the way it did.

Totally agree with you on new manager waiting in the wings and deal already agreed etc. It's not usually announced until the old has gone though.

The way his appointment was handled stunk, expected it from the Dildo brothers, Potter showed a lack of respect for a fellow professional is my take on it.

Yes, you’d think that the West Ham owners would interview candidates in the board room.
Our away from the training ground whilst the current manager was taking training.

Yes it stunk, I guess we just disagree on how culpable Potter was in the way it played out 👍

So you logged on to say that your comment had nothing to do with this. And then that you heard something that was so boring that you fell asleep halfway through it. I must be missing something.
I stopped reading at “so you logged in”. I doubt it got any more accurate after that Glynny.
