• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Irrespective of what happens

If we were 6-8 points better off, we might have been a more attractive club for top clubs to send their player to us. We're in the middle of nowhere at the moment and the better loans are going to the top 6-8 clubs.

Having money to spend would have helped too. Incredibly annoying that the Yanks won't back a manager who's probably going to walk out once any half decent opportunity comes along. Remember Martinez and Jordi Gomez for us???

i think deflating is the perfect adjective phil, fucked off big time.

I think the links to mcatee et al was a load of bullshit too

No I think those were geniune enough

The ones to Darling and O'Riley I dont get as they were out of our price range

Even if we had managed to move on Fulton it wasnt going to fund them. Which starts to beg the question has Martin been misled over budgets or was he trying to pressure the owners into spending more than was agreed?
I think he has and wouldn't be surprised or blame him ( in spite of his shortcomings in management) if he walks away.
We are a car crash in motion and can only get worse next season

Everything is ok guys, we’ll have 60% possession tomorrow night!! 🥴

We spent all our money on the Grimester.

Wonder how much we coughed up for his new contract, 15-20K a week I’d imagine?

Very negative thread chaps... Don't forget the yanks have invested heavily in the past. We don't want to be a Derby do we? Next level bitches.

If anyone thinks Matt O’Reilly was going to come here when Celtic were interested they’re living in cloud cuckoo land.
