Is tonight finally...

The night that Russ is shown the door?
If there's a God eh.
I don't care to be honest, not a fan of the saints I'm neutral on Martin myself, he came and went like so many others, its been like a conveyor belt with managers coming and going at SCFC the last probably 10 yrs, biggest mistake was disgracefully kicking Guidolin out the door and for Bradley as well ffs.

It started earlier than that, emailing Michael Laudrup out during our first foray into Europe.. it all went south after that

He's not going to be sacked. Southampton's squad is shit, and they're all there to play Martinball, so no-one else is going to be able to change much with them. They'll do a Luton, go down, keep RM and 'rebuild'

I’m not a fan of going back normally, but the biggest mistake was extending Guidolin’s contract when Huwbert had had Brendan willing to come back. Literally in his office willing to sign if I remember correctly (I may not lol).

Not that Guidolin wasn’t treated badly after that of course. The bloke seemed like a real gent. The less said about Bobbley the better :ROFLMAO:

It’s like a cancer. Once you’ve slowed everyone down, it seems incredibly hard to pick the tempo up again. We still have outbreaks of Martinball and the bugger’s been gone for over a year.

Mike Bassett would get a better tune out of that lot than Martin.

Southampton have some really good players and a cack manager. Funny enough /I still fancy them to come back and nick it tonight and stay up. He’s crap but a massive spawncock.

Biggest mistake was not getting Rodgers back here.

And Brendan had Joe Allen ready and willing to join him here too.

Your semi-regular reminder that after finishing 10th here with a patchwork quilt squad, Martin took his methods to a club with slightly better players and instantly got promoted.

Just to challenge the groupthink that often passes for insight on these pages 👍🏻
