Even though the Taliban have swept through the country, it's still essentially a power vacuum as I can't imagine any decent governance or security functions are in place. It's inevitable ISIS-K are going to try and use that opportunity.

Apparently the Afghans waiting to be processed for possible evacuation were having to queue up in a part-filled sewage drainage channel. It's beyond words.
