Valérien Ismaël may have seen his Barnsley side beaten in the first leg of the play off semi final against the Swans but he certainly wasn’t downbeat after his side’s performance and believes that they have the quality to get a result at the Liberty on Saturday and progress to Wembley. The Tykes...

They will be adapting their tactics for Saturday.

Ronan O'Gara is taking their training.

They certainly have what it takes to come back but but if they do, it will be through effort, intensity and commitment, not quality, I didn't see any quality from them last night.

Dont think so.
They'll come back through our mistakes/lack of bottle.
Both of which I can't see happening. They'll get a draw at best.
Just can't see us messing this up.

The pressure is off Barnsley, they will come at us with everything the first 30 mins
Hopefully we stop them scoring or even Nick a goal on counter attack, still got it all to do

It won't be easy this return leg. Barnsley have won 7 of their last 9 away matches - winning at both Brentford and Bournemouth.

BUT, an early goal from us, and their heads could drop very quickly.

It's going to be the same again I feel. They are very much like Cardiff; constantly in your face and just trying to force you to mess up.

Hopefully we can keep the same levels of concentration we had in the first leg and that should be enough.

I think we'll score a couple if they push.

So they better hope they have comeback quality from 3-0 down!

Can't see them laying a glove on us if I'm honest. Average side.

I have to laugh at the bullshit mindgames. "There's no pressure on us" says Ismael.
Yes there is, Butt, and it's massive. You're a goal down, so if you don't score at least one on Saturday, you're out and on your way home. Feckin MASSIVE pressure!

Exactly! At last someone who says it as it is.

We're massive favourites and the pressure is all on them. They have to come at us, and unfortunately for them that plays to us.

There are different ways at looking at it, expectation brings pressure, the swans are expected to reach the final now, I don't think we are massive favourites and I hope the players don't think we are either , we have a slight advantage that's all

We are 2/7 in the bookies to make the final. I would say that was more than slight favourites.

I'm not saying we don't have a very hard task ahead on Saturday, of course we have. I was just laughing at Barnsley's boss trying to get inside our heads.

I think their manager is right when he says there is no pressure on them. No one believed they would be anywhere near the playoffs this season - even going back 3 months they were never considered. So for them, they’ve already overachieved this season and getting to the playoffs alone was seen as a huge success. If they get an early goal it could be a very nervous evening.

On paper we shouldn’t be concerned at all, but then on paper I wasn’t concerned about playing Cardiff at home and we all know what happened there.

I'm less confident than most on here. Whilst it's true they showed a lack of quality Monday, they haven't got into the playoffs by doing that all season. They've had 34 Shots in 3 games against us to our 21 - suggests you'd expect them to score sooner than later. They've won 7 out of 9 in recent away games and beaten Muff and Hounslow away - a top effort. The frustrating thing all season for us has been our poor attitude in certain home gaames when we were expected to win....we have played with no intensity in such games. Alarming if Cooper says we are playing to "protect our lead." Hope I'm wrong but I can see us trying to defend our way through Saturday rather than having a right go at them. Much to do.
