Ivor Allchurch

Ivor was born on 16th. October 1929. A Swansea legend and record goal scorer (166) who played for Swansea Town, Newcastle United and Cardiff City, as well as the Wales national football team. Allchurch was the sixth of seven children, with two sisters and four brothers, who grew up in a three bedroomed house on Landeg Street in Plasmarl, his brother, Len played professionally for Swansea Town, Sheffield United and Stockport County as well as representing Wales.
