I’ve given him as much stick as most on here:

.. but I’ll give him some credit. He did well when he came on. Looked a lot sharper and ran the channel well.

He’s obviously still lacking that little confidence... he had that one chance where he took a touch to many before taking a weak shot and getting taken out... but his overall performance when he came on was much better.

Seems to be the kind of forward likely to blow hot and cold. Will go on a run of goals then have a bit of a dry spell before going on a run of goals again. Maybe with more experience and confidence the dry spells will become fewer.

Compare to Ayew whose self-confidence must be absolutely rock solid. He can have a dog of a game and still back himself time and time again.

I feel lowe would improve if her played in the premier league. It was a good call from cooper not to start him today

If only he and Ayew would play together as a pair instead of two individuals, I'm sure it would get each of them more goals. That must be sorted out in training, shouldn't take long.

He'll be fine, take bitta pressure off him by not starting.
But been massive week for Andre, if anyone thought he was not looking himself/no energy etc, then last 2 games will have certainly lit a fire under his arse. Hopefully that 'spark ' now back. Always thought the key to him was him scoring.

he's a bloody lovely player, issue is he is very dependant on confidence. I think he would be even better alongside a big striker
