Just a hunch but I wouldn't be suprised one bit if we bring in Luke Freeman as the Pato replacement if we shift him.

Can't say I would be inspired by a 31 year old who got 2 goals and 1 assist in 26 games last season and was released by Luton after only a single season at the club. With the money from Piroe and potentially Wood too we could definitely aim higher than that when it comes to a creative attacking midfielder.

If Wood goes then I agree with you.
A striker, a left back, centre half and midfielder could be sourced decently with the Piroe money alone if they get it right.

Never mind the striker. We‘ve got Yates, Cullen and the Ukrainian. Invest big in a good young attacking midfielder.
