This might of been discussed somewhere else on this forum but still worth a mention.

It's great to see the new ownership starting off with a positive with the fans.

Hopefully we’ll go from a permanent out of office to ‘all in it together’ attitude with the new guys.
Win win.

Nice gesture - but they've still got a lot of work to do to convince people that they are actually up to the job. Didn't Birch buy everyone a pint for one game once? Also a nice touch, but least he had the chops to back it up by being competent at his job.

Gonna take a lot more to convince me than a multi millionaire dipping in his pocket to stump up what is loose change for him.

Some people are never happy.

These guys are the polar opposite to the hedge fund, when Kaplan and Levien and the other 27 hedge funders took a punt we were ripe for the picking, Premier league football, Sky millions, then parachute payments, toped up with multi million pounds worth of players to sell.
This lot have none of that, basically not a pot to piss into.
Yes, they will want to make a go of it, they are businessmen after all, but to compare them with the previous lot is very much wide of the mark...

P R work at it's very best.
Terrific gesture.
Of course it is. The new ownership group will be acutely aware of the stigma attached to the ownership group; there will be many sceptics out there who think this new era will be just like the last, and this goes a little way to winning fans over. £900 will be nothing to the owners, but will be significant to the fans group. However this doesn’t detract from the work required inside the club.

I would hope that there is more than a realisation that that's what needs to happen. It doesn't detract from the old saying about ''first impressions''. They may not be the knights in shining armour that we crave. I'm not judging them on one great gesture and won't be judging them on the upcoming window. Next summer for me will become a good yardstick which will not be about how much they spend or do not spend. It will be more about the feel of the club and whether the toxicity has passed.

Happy as larry me, mate.

Just a case of once bitten twice shy that's all.

Gonna take more than a couple of quid to Yellow Cabs to convince me this lot are the right people for the club. A good January transfer window would be a start.
That's fair enough, can't argue with that 👍🏼

Will It take more than £900 to win back fans. Yes. Can it be seen as good PR. Yes. But let's all take our sinicle hats off for a moment. It might be peanuts to the rich but he didn't have to suggest to pay it. Can we all not at least once, irrelevant of the reason for this celebrate some positives. All of us have been burnt by past but let's see where this goes. I'll stop with my hippie talk, but sometime lets smell the roses. And as the poem goes, We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars. 😊

Well said 👏🏼

I don't post much, but this is one that is needed.

Excellent gesture, financially it's peanuts to the owners but it's a hefty amount to the fans and it'll go a long way to improving the fan morale. A great way to start rebuilding the damage done by the tosspots who fucked us earlier.

Take a bow Jason Cohen.
