He is getting absolutely murdered on live TV right now by senior MP's. On defence spending I think I heard one saying that more has been spent on Ukraine than what has been spent on our own defence in the last 3 years.

They might have to find some kind of ancient mechanism to remove this despot from office. He genuinely appears to be mentally ill.

When you consider half of those weren't first choice for their positions, I dread to think what waifs and strays are in line for for a promotion next

Rees-Mogg, Truss and Dorries are about to have several ministerial positions each.

This is painful viewing. He is getting grilled and either not answering questions properly, doesn't know or goes in to piffle mode.

HOLY SHIT! He just admitted to meeting Alexander Lebedev whilst foreign secretary. He looks visibly rattled after that admission!

This is where our lack of a written constitution and reliance on conventions makes us vulnerable. When the incumbent ignores those conventions as Johnson is consistently doing there’s no end game. At least you knew Trump was finished when his term came to a constitutionally mandated end.

There is the very credible prospect of him styling his out and attempting to take this to the public. He has no loyalty to the party, so why would he care if they lost by a landslide. It's all the same to him.

He may even have the moral argument on that one. Ignoring convention again, 2019 was as close to a presidential election as we've ever had.

But yeah, it's probably not the most likely option. If he could go before Friday, that'd be lovely as I'll be down in the smoke and would like to celebrate

The chief whip is at No10 with a group of MP's, Simon Hart is one of them. When Johnson gets out of the Liaison committee he will be told in no uncertain terms.

What a tough last day of work he is having. The Liaison committee is like an exit interview.

Edit: rumours that Zahawi is one of the ministers too.

The remainder of the cabinet is literally standing in his office telling him to resign and he's probably going to tell them to 'f**k off'

This is comedy gold.

This is not real any more surely?

Watched that instead of the tennis. Fckn tv gold, still can't believe this idiot wont shift. Almost bluebird dillusion levels.

Surely we're getting into territory where the Queen removes him?

This is going to end with the police chasing Johnson around the M25 in a Ford Bronco

I can't have much of a moral compass, I find his defiance almost endearing 🤔
