• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

All this early activity is great for a change.
Makes you wonder about the owners mindset back in January and the poor window.
It’s as if they’d made their mind up about Russ then, and didn’t want to trust him with any more money.

Yep. They must have thought that Christmas had come early when Soton came knocking.

2021 - Walsh (8th July), Piroe (2nd July), Joseph (11th June)
2022 - Allen (8th July), Darling (18th June), Wood (10th June)
2023 - Key (4th July), Ginnelly (3rd July)

Usually we've spent more money by now.

But, but, but owers, delays, we leave all our business to the last minute etc etc....

January was largely an aberration and as others have suggested, it's likely that their concerns about Martin in the long term and the wisdom of throwing good money after bad would have led to a lot of heel dragging over approving deals.

We've signed

Josh then

Josh and now maybe

Jerry

Did someone order too many 'J' for the team shirts

:)

14 goals in a relegated side is good going.
If we can create that many more chances for him, hopefully he can get up to Piroe's level.
Excited to see how this team comes together.

If only we still had Butler so that Tom could link up with Jerry.

I think the key lies in the change in leadership within the ownership & the changes they have implemented. I wouldn’t give any credit to the bunch in charge at the last transfer window. They messed up & even admitted in a video
