JJ Williams RIP

JJ’s brother Peter died last week too. A very popular PE teacher.

Can we leave the racism out of this?
JJ was a great sportsman and a champion of many local charities. No virtue signalling from him.

RIP John James Williams

Bobby Ball now JJ. Hate this, guys I grew up watching on tv now gone, horrible reminder I'm getting on.

Terrible news. Hell of a turn of speed on him and one of the all timers. God knows what will happen in Wales when Gareth Edwards pegs it! RIP JJ

Fantastic player, not just a speed merchant. What a back 3 Wales had in the 70s, with JJ, JPR and Gerald Davies.

RIP

RIP JJ
Great player, from arguably the best of times in recent Rugby times, for me anyway.

Both he and Peter taught me (PE) in school (early 70's) - they were chalk and cheese. JJ was a true gent, and full of encouragement. He was involved in a Posh Cawl sports shop JV with my (dodgy) uncle back in the 70's - not sure if it ever took off. I was chatting to him a few years back in the Ashoka - he mentioned was running a painting and decoration business I believe. Welsh legend, RIP and thoughts with family and friends.
