The Sousa season. Kuqi, Beattie, an aged Trundle. Darren Pratley top scored with seven.

You could also argue that the following season we didn't really have one until Borini turned up as Sinclair was more of a winger than a forward. I always liked the way Luke Moore linked up with Sinclair tho.

Luke Moore, took pelters but was a decent player and would walk in the team instead of Liam Cullen who isn't a very good footballer

Right I’m royally peed off, I’m not DGT, BBC, ITV or S4C I’m a legend since 73 👍

Your better than Southampton, fully deserves a Premier League move, Brentford would be a good move for him considering Toney is out for a while.

Mostly been great for us, but he's not really a PL player imo. No pace and shut down by good defenders. He would pop a goal in every now and again, but that wouldn't be enough. His numbers might get him the move, and it would be good financially for us, so lets hope someone takes the punt. Assuming he won't sign a new contract now.

A bit like McBurnie in that sense.

He contributes little in general play, hardly ever wins a tackle and is poor in the air. I hope he proves me wrong and we get a good price for him.

Piroe has made his living off of his ability to shift the ball to find half a yard of space with clever movement and then find the bottom corners.

Would he find that harder in the Premier League? Absolutely
Would he be any worse than say Teemu Pukki did for Norwich? Absolutely not

Yes, but Pukki's not a PL player. Hardly a championship player now.

I think he'd cut it in the prem, he'd have better players around him than he's got now.

He will also notice a significant increase in the quality of defending so better team mates won't necessarily help him here. The space he is able to find and exploit at Championship level won't be the same at Premier League level.

I really hope a moneybags PL team is thinking the same. Maybe Luton or Cov will splash out...plus Evo bought Maupay and he is total dogshit.

This, all day long.

He definitely deserves the chance, especially at the age of 23.

I think he'll score enough goals to warrant his wage, I really do.

Could of said the same about Galagher when he was here, looked bang average, did very well in the prem. The point is we'll never really know unless he gets into the prem.
