It's a bread and butter cross for a goal keeper. Not wanting to slate Fisher, he's just not good enough at this level.

Not sure many keepers would come out to deal with a low cross from the left with three defenders in front of them, who could equally have dealt with it.

Should have done better in my opinion in stoping the cross by Bostock, but hey, it's easier to blame Fisher.

I just feel that he got close, put his foot up to block the cross but it went past him.
Of course, he could have done better and that would have been to block it.
For me crosses come into our box all the time. The issue for me is when our player is not tight, no effort to stop the cross or completely positionally in the wrong place.
He did non of that. (Just maybe he could have been a little tighter but might be at risk of bostock dropping the shoulder and going by him).

Fish looked all over the place as it went in, but not blaming him as it was a decent strike and he may have been unsighted by Burgess.

Again, it’s all opinions

I was pleased with what I saw by a guy that’s 36 and not played for ages.

It was under knee height so if Fisher was to come out for it he would have had to deal with it using his feet, which beggs the question, if it was as easy for Fisher to deal with as you claim, why did the defenders nit deal with it?

Sorry, seems i have my wires crossed. I'm talking about the first goal where he made a complete hash of a relatively standard cross.

You're probably right, he did put in a decent effort to close the player down, but I guarantee if it was to happen against Key and he was for once in the right position to get tight on the attacker, he would have received pelters for not stopping the cross.
