Joey Barton

So what punishment should he receive for kicking his wife in the head whilst she was on the floor?
In fairness, after booting his wife in the head he could have stubbed his cigar out in her eye...
Utter cunt that needs jailing for a very long time.

You are speaking as if he is guilty, before even being found guilty.

This report from a few years ago sheds different light on what happened that night, if you read this, she wrote and said, she was injured in an accident, not by Joey Barton, it seems to me that their dislike of Barton is impinging their ability to judge a case fairly. Anyway here’s the article from a few year ago. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-news/joey-barton-domestic-abuse-trial-9287780

That’s a very fair point about him not being found guilty, that was poor of me. And yes, I am letting my dislike of him influence my thinking. But you’ll have to forgive for thinking like that about a violent misogynist.

Fair enough comment, you have pre-judged him, which is understandable.

I was thinking earlier, I am surprised the CPS proceeded with this case, I have watched every episode of 24 hours in Police Custody, and before they proceed to getting someone to court, they usually make sure they have a high probability of conviction, in this particular case, I feel as if they have zero chance of a conviction, simply because they are trying prosecute someone without a victim.

Like how can somebody be found guilty of hitting another, when the alleged victim states that they were not hit?
