So what game plan would you like to see ?
Middlesbrough play a possession game
Expansive football short passing with good movement , would you prefer their control of the game .
Despite them dominating most games they lack the killer touch in the box .
most championship games are pretty tight decided by fine margins .
I see an improvement in our play now than in the past 4 seasons .
Pretty simple, I’d like to see us control games a lot better, use the ball better and not rely on the big bad wolf approach…I’ll huff and I’ll puff until I blow the house down, which is what some of our performances remind me of.

I think that will change with a push for better wingers in the summer, a bit more quality will make a huge difference.

I don’t think recruiting the quality you’re after will be that easy., not many players fancy the type of high press high energy football that we’re currently playing….hard work see.

I think he changes the midfield to much for a championship side. It seems to me that he makes his mind up on his subs before the game and still goes through with it no matter what the game pans out like! I don't understand why he took vipotnik off so early on Monday when he was on a hat trick! I thought the beaming smile amd laughter at the final whistle was quite odd to. I'm not enjoying anything more than I was this time last season but I do hope we can have a go under him next season

Hmm - there is a flaw in your thinking. Under Matos we have won 11 times and drawn 5 times in 26 games (equates to roughly 1.46 points per game).
Extrapolated over a 46 game season this would be roughly 67 points. Last season we finished on 61.
I think this is a very fair evaluation of this current squad - top half BUT not play off quality.
Our inability to bet the top sides is a massive hurdle for this squad if we are to make a leap forward.
I'm only basing my assessment if we have serious ambitions to go back to the promise land, if we are content with championship football then the current players will do
