(For those - most - who are a lot younger than me, The Embassy eventually became Baron's)
The Commancheros, of course. Wasn't their bass player Bobby Short? Anyway, glad to be corrected. Terry is a couple of years younger than me, so I was bound to have seen him on the then excellent Swansea band (group!) scene.TheLoneRanger said:jacabertawe said:Didn't Terry originally play with The Mustangs? I'm not too sure, but he could well have for a short time. The Mustangs evolved into The Eyes of Blue.
Terry's first group were The Comancheros - then you had The Jets (Smokeless Zone), The Dream, Love Sculpture, Man, etc, etc, etc.

Brothers In Arms was being recorded on Monseratt and was one of the first digitally recorded albums, plus one of the first to be released on CD.
The producer thought TW's drumming sounded to "live" on the studio tracks - plus when they played some of the recordings back, they found some of the drum tracks were missing. So the producer decided to fly in jazz drummer Omar Hakim to re-record many of the drum tracks.
TW's opening on MFN was retained.

Keep on Crintin', son.
