I remember once waking from a dream in which I'd been queuing to go into a Uriah Heep concert.

"Trevor Bolder is ill. He can't play. Will you fill in for him?". I told them I'd never played bass in my life to which they replied "We don't think anyone will notice".

I think that was more a comment on the extreme volume at their gigs rather than a put down of Trev's playing.

Mine was playing Sax for Billy Joel. I have to admit he was a bit dubious at first but I said hey I've seen you three times already this week, I'll be ok.
