One thing that makes me wonder if we are not the only fish to fry, as far as Hellberg is concerned.
Why didn’t he fly straight to Cardiff airport, rather than London?
Talk of Norwich, Borough also showing interest in him makes me wonder.
Basically, it’s up to you Brett Cravatt, Jason Cohen, and Nigel Morris to convince him otherwise.
Wanted to watch Mama Mia in West End by all accounts... 😂😂... Proberly easier to fly into London. Its happened before, and expect its easier to talk to other clubs at same time. Doesn't mean he won't come to us. But hedging his bets and seeing what options there is. Maybe Deliah baked him a cake in Norwich? 🎂😂

When there's even a mention of another club, it never ends well for us.

This ownership if they fail to get this across will have to seriously answer some heavy questions.

Awful January window under them, late to sack Luke Williams, Not finding a replacement for him quick enough, appointing Sheehan and giving him a 3yr deal, a summer window which appears to be questionable inclduing signing Idah for 7mill and now this fiasco after sacking Sheehan. Not to mention having a notorious forum troll as our head of recruitment.

Every key moment and decision they've had to take it has gone horribly wrong. Its all good getting these big names to join the ownership group but if you can't get basic key decisions right, we'll go nowhere.

What fiasco?

At the moment all we know is that its reported we have talked to him, everything else is fan based speculation.

After the bombing of Dresden, Norwich became the city with the largest number of pre-reformation churches in Europe. I love to jog around Norwich but I can still make calls to the office via my digital telecom headset communicator. Norwich cathedral is breathtaking and its beautiful golden stone cloisters are the perfect place to go jogging every morning, whilst making those last minute budget decisions.

But is it better than Swansea?

but,but,but….!!

That opinion won’t go over well here, but I agree. A bit of spin and a bit of celeb buzz but so far not seeing it.

It takes absolutely nothing to move a manager odds market at our level, two or three bets will leave the bookies slash or take out odds

These rumours came from nowhere which normally
Means they mean nothing given there is nothing of substance to them

Given how many times we have changed managers in the last ten years we should be used to this by now 🤣

As you say rumours are just that unless they come from a trusted source.
To add though, it seems we are going all out for our number one target.
Let's hope that they are prepared if he decides to stay or go elsewhere.

I’d be surprised if you can fly direct to Cardiff from anywhere in Sweden.
Correct as regards scheduled flights but private flights can be arranged between more or less any airports eqipped with the appropriate international standard of technology ad personnel

Oh, speaking of which, whatever happened to the Scummy Sala case in France?

Would Swansea's owners look to Martin, who still has many admirers within the club after his previous spell at the club?

The suggestion, for the moment at least, is that it is unlikely.

Martin was Swansea boss between 2021 and 2023, when his teams finished 15th and then 10th in the second tier.

Having worked amid financial constraints at Swansea, Martin left for Southampton and won promotion to the Premier League in his first season before losing his job as they struggled in the top flight, and he is now a free agent after a difficult spell at Rangers.

Martin remains a popular figure among players and staff at Swansea and would be open to the idea of coming back to Wales.

He would also bring a possession-based philosophy – while his statistics as a coach indicate he would improve Swansea in attack, which has been their biggest problem this season.

But despite the fact that Martin ticks many boxes, a reunion seems improbable with Swansea's owners seemingly against the idea.

This on bbc yesterday
Even though he f*cked off to Southampton after leaking info about his contract and putting the club at a disadvantage? If he comes back I will be taking my season ticket back and asking for a refund. And I won’t be coming back
