I'm sure he's useful to the club, and a good servant and all that, but isn't there somebody who could keep him away from match commentaries? I mean, he's probably a decent, hard working guy, but my heart sinks when I hear him speak. In the middle of some crucial action, to nobody in particular "There's that thing that WE were talking about" . . . . . No! YOU were talking about, to yourself. Just verbal diarrhea . . . . . . Maybe it's just me.

Take him over Wyndham every day of the week.

I'm quite enjoying Trundle's commentary. His grammar makes me cringe but he's quite insightful and just as grumpy when we're not moving the ball quickly as I am.

1. Trundle
2. Wyndham
3. Leon
4. Andy Robinson
999. o'Leary - never shuts up

I didn’t hear it at the game.

Neither did I, but it was definitely him on the Extended Highlights. Why on earth would you think I wasn't there?

I got into the habit of watching with the sound turned off during lockdown.

KOL is annoying as f**k tbh, never shuts up and always starts a sentence with "Look".

On the subject of things being annoying as f*ck, I’ve heard 2 different interviewers after our games, a male and a female (I would assume. You don’t know what people identify as these days) but both of them on multiple times have used the phrase “it doesn’t get much better than that does it?”.

Every time I’ve heard him speak, he’s sounds very insightful, and knowledgeable. Wtf do half the muppets on here know better ?

Funnily enough, every time I see one of your post you come across as a bit of a muppet also :D

What O'Leary says generally does make sense, but he's very monotone and not particularly charismatic behind a microphone. He's basically a reverse Wyndham. Wyndham of course is the commentary equivalent of the drunken older bloke in the pub who you dread getting sat next to when there's a big game on the telly.

I can't stand Trundle's commentary personally. I remember watching our 4-1 loss at Huddersfield last season. That was bad enough but Trundle going on and on about the same thing did my fucking head in.

Honestly he's one of those that gets bored by silence so therefore has to keep talking just for the sake of it.

Wyndham and O'Leary are my preferred choices for different reasons.
