We had a point in the bag against the league leaders and allowed Naughton to get exposed on the break. Appalling game management.

Brewster had him on toast basically

Naughton would get there first he’s inexplicably run across him to try and win a free kick.

Nope all wrong, naughts ran across him because he knew that he would never catch him in a foot race, he gambled and lost.

That was very much my feeling at the time too.

Nah completely disagree, there wasn't enough gap between the ball and Naughton for Brewster to outdo him. If he runs towards the ball instead of at a ridiculous angle towards Brewster it's a straight forward clearance. Naughton didn't even have to let it bounce in the first place either imo, those mistakes are coach killers.

Hmmm looking at this angle you could be right. We should never be put in that position in the 94th minute ffs.

Naughton has been one of most consistent players for a few seasons, he was left on his own against a player that we know has pace to burn. Ok, if he made a mistake, then that’s life. I haven’t noticed a thread blaming Piroe for missing that relatively simple chance right in front of goal, or Ollie’s chance when he squared it to Piroe. On another day we might have scored, they also had a few chances, but why blame Naughton?
