The government have reached an agreement with CF Industries to restart CO2 production at its UK sites.

So in other words they’ve offered them money. I wonder where that’s going to come from??

Whoop!

The magical money tree that doesn't exist....

There a shortage of gas, which has halted production, then there a shit ton of money on the table, then there isn't a shortage of gas. Colour me sideways.😂

Look on the bright side, there'll be billions made available to improve our infrastructure though. I for one am looking forward to catching a train in London and getting off in Birmingham 25 minutes earlier than usual - fvck everything else that's so wrong with this septic isle.

How's that Bexit going then?

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Some say it's going well, I say the country is fooked. Gas and electricity supplies, fooked, empty shelves in the supermarkets, everyone trying to screw everyone else. Cant get a dental appointment for weeks,. Eating out is getting expensive. What's not to like,FFS. 😂

It's a combination of inflation, soaring gas prices, raised taxes, benefit cuts, and food and labour shortages. And the blame lies directly with the Government. I see that inflation next year is predicted to rise to 3% while inflation in the US, Germany and France is predicted to fall.

Yes, the government has agreed to give (not lend, give) a large US-owned company tens of millions of pounds of taxpayers' money, just to operate one of its own plants. Perhaps it had to do that as an emergency measure, but it should never have got us into this situation in the first place. Was it so difficult to foresee that this might happen and do something to prepare in case it ever happened?

Whereas I am looking forward to being able to get a seat on that train rather than having to stand in a train corridor with lots of others. I couldn't care less about faster speeds but the trains need to be bigger.
