Probably about 20 years ago for me, and most likely the Evening Post.

Going the same way as paper money.

And paper bank statements/ documents.

And Christmas Cards.

None of these will be "a thing" in ten years time.

Technology aye 🤷‍♂️

Probably before the News of The World was binned. Thats the only paper I used to buy. I would pick up a copy of the metro depending on where I was working(London for instance), how I was getting there(tube). It amazes me that they still print any newspapers.

Only if I’m going to the races, which is only once a year.

Probably bought about 10 newspapers in the last 50 years. They would have been for specific articles or notices, I’ve had my news from radio or television and more recently from online sources, usually BBC.

As the older generation passes on, things like newspapers and even letters will become obsolete. PostNord in Denmark, for instance, has just announced it will no longer deliver letters after the end of this year.

Our bedtime excitement these days extends only as far as attempting Saturday's Daily Mail crossword.

£1.60 a week. I don't even read the bleedin' thing.

Just before I retired the company supplied a half day "retirement course" Mostly about pensions and finance etc.

The only thing that I took away from it was if you have a paper delivered, cancel it.

Reason given.

From childhood you have been regimented into getting up. School then work etc.

Give yourself a reason to get up and walk to get your paper.

Did I take that advice, no, I'd already stopped getting one years before

Must be a out 10 years since we had The Evening Post delivered. It was shite anyway. On monday you only had about 4 sheets. They also got rid of the Motor post and property guide, and started charging too much.
