• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Yeah he is, and Brett Cravatt.

Edit - no idea why things take so long to announce mind you, especially with Morris and Cravatt. Wasn’t expecting a martin announcement until after Soton’s last game though. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s in the stands but hardly any of the players on show will be his next year I doubt!

It's extremely crowded now. Levein, Kaplan, Silverstein, Morris, Cravatt, Coleman, soon to be Watson. (As well as the likes of Romie Chaudhari and Bobby Hernreich).

There needs to be a proper chain of command sorted as soon as possible.

We're in the dark now my friend, the trust diluted and gone, us fans have been frozen out

You’re the second person in an hour to hint at that. Is there anything behind it? That would be interesting. Been coaching for a few years now hasn’t he?

by all accounts, yes.
a couple of minor hurdles to overcome but the future definitely bodes well, esp for our midfield dynamism

The injuries to Bodde is one of the biggest travesties in recent Swans history.

I truly believe that Bodde could have gone to the top of the game he had that much talent. Anyone who can score with a 45 yard drive (not a lob off the goal line or anything like that) and has the range of passing that he did would have phenomenal potential.

Still can’t see Russ coming in for too many when he moves on

Hadn’t clocked Chris Davies much when he was here must admit but wonder if he is another one of those No 2s who is a good No 2

I would have loved to see Bodde playing for us in the Premier League

Same, I genuinely believe he had top 6 quality potential. That Birmingham tackle ruined his playing career

It was a shame and also bad management by the staff to try to rush him back. I can't remember who it was against when he broke down the 2nd time, but even in the pre match warm up, he never looked comfortable and it was unfortunately an accident waiting to happen.

Not just that either, he could be a hard b4$tard when he wanted to as well, potentially the complete midfielder.

Anyone else concerned why the delay all week for this announcement ??

Southampton still have a manager, Ruben Selles is still officially in charge until after the Liverpool game on Sunday, after which he'll be sacked, expect Wuss to be "paraded" Monday or Tuesday next week ...

They’ve already brought out statement confirming Selles won’t be offered an extended contract so that has all been confirmed.

They’ll wait until the game is out of the way and announce Tuesday.

The Ironic thing is that Selles is the better option all be it just
