Lati

More than capable of holding down a starting spot at Championship level. He will benefit greatly from playing in a team where the manager plays to his strengths.

Good luck to him. Despite his limitations he always give 100%.

He might have had limitations but Russell Martin’s decent spells coincided with Lati being in the side.

Most decent spells under RM coincided with us playing round pegs in round holes. The obsession some people have with blaming Latibeaudiere for his performances when being played utterly out of position is baffling. He did his best but was obviously no wingback. despite Martin regularly trying to play him there for the best part of two years.

Decent CB though. Certainly capable enough to do a job for most Championship sides.

When the Martin fan club hark back they need to be reminded that Martin thought that Jake Bidwell wasn’t good enough to play at wingback for us but Lati was.

Having seen Elton waddle on stage at Glastonbury, he'd still have stopped Lati going outside him.

Good luck to Lati. Obviously it will improve his career as he hasn't got a club at the moment ergo unemployed.
He always gave 100% but he should never have been played as a wing back as he does not have the pace for that role and got exposed for it. Another one of Martin's gaffs.

But not inside?
