• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Heard on the radio that Lati got closer to the winger in the second half but surely a good defender should know that already

On minute 3 he provided a third of a pitch of space.

Like most of you, I'm left with a highly dissatisfied feeling at the end of the season. I'm fed up with Martin's general bullshit and bad decision making, I'm highly fed up with several of our players and wish they would feck off, the two in the title of this thread being the leading contenders, and I'm fed up with the invisible owners, i.e. the kings of bullshit and their Trust stooges.
I hope there are some radical changes next season but doubt it very much, unless the 'new money' geezer has got his head screwed on and goes through the club like a dose of salts.

It’s been an awful season punctuated with moments of joy with a double over Cardiff and a 8 match unbeaten run. The football, over the whole season, has been chronic and plain boring. If this is the process we are buying into then God help us .
We have selected the likes of Lati when Joseph and Whits have been marginalised in brutal fashion.
We have a goalkeeper who is musical hall standard but brought in a back up keeper never to be tried. Never .

Finally,we are pining that Manning won’t stay with us

I agree with most of this except for Manning, he is our only player who has made it into the top 50 Championship player rankings, a list that is usually dominated by strikers and attacking midfielders.

The quality of his deliveries, his goals and assists will be sorely missed next season especially with no realistic successor in sight and no equivalent outlet on the right side either.

Just watched the highlights of Hull's goal and Latibeaudie positioning doesn't surprise me at all.
Nowhere near the man he is supposed to be defending against, really doesn't matter which formation he has played in he gives too much space to the winger giving away cheap dangerous free kicks or crosses into our box.
