I think that's mostly our problem at the moment. Too many square pegs in round holes. allied to a general lack of pace.

This is about right - good enough as a back up,problem is we are now having to make him first choice

Someone suggested on Twitter earlier Fosu as a wingback - interesting thought but not sure it would be a good idea

could work. If we had someone as good as christe going forward on the left we'd be a better side

Christie has been excellent-if we can secure him on apermanent in the summer that feels instinctuvely like a good move!

Worked his b*llocks off but we need a genuine attacking LWB. Sharpish.

Agree not the answer in our style but a good battling display by him tonight

I don’t think he’s ever dreamt he’d end up at LWB. Fair play to the lad, he made a fist of it. He’d be a better fit than Smith in his position! 🤣🙄

Not his fault, he's not picking himself there and all he's doing is putting in the best shift he can in the position he's asked of but he isn't a wing-back.

He can fill in for a game or so, but he isn't ever likely to over much attacking threat there which is pretty essential to us being an effective side going forward. Same goes for Korey Smith.

His best position is definitely as a centre-back, maybe at a lower standard, but it'd be for a side that play a more conventional back four that don't ask so much of centre-backs on the ball.

He’s done well enough and part of why we’ve looked more solid (looks like the wingbacks haven’t been playing quite as far forward), but nowhere near as effective as Bidwell was going forward on that side, hopefully we’ve got someone else in mind.

Latibeaudiere had a great game worked his knackers off, got a smack in the nose for his troubles, caused by a high boot hitting the ball into his chops, nothing given for the high boot though, Austin nearly catches Manning with his boot into his chops again nothing given, yet Ref was very quick in pulling out the yellows for us, Austin got Downes sent off, he's a twat and he's never been any different, love him here though rightly or wrongly.
