• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

After the game today from the East stand. A complete and utter shambles. Those heading towards Plasmarl, hundreds of people trying to squeeze through a small gate , and then had to negotiate a path in complete darkness until reaching the main road. Completely unacceptable, and an accident waiting to happen. If the club are going to force us to use this path then it needs to be adequately lit, particularly in the winter months.

Totally agree. A couple of thousand people trying to get through a 6 foot gap and as you say walking on wet slippery paths in complete darkness. Complaints to many including police who to be fair did acknowledge the issue. Small kids struggling badly. Very poor Swansea City accident waiting to happen

People were getting crushed, someone was bound to have filmed it, the cops were in control.. have they learnt anything

This is the type of issue the trust should be taken an active involvement in. In this day and age it was totally unacceptable. You also get people walking on dark wet paths head down watching the floor with people from other parts of the stadium walking towards you causing issues for each other . Why we keep changing the exit from the ground match after match i really don’t know. Never changed week in week out in the prem when ground was full every match

The stewarding at the stadium needs reviewing.

Almost ended up chinning one of them in the West Stand yesterday. The fella was foaming at the mouth and clearly on some sort of substance.

These idiots are there to ensure peoples safety. I'm sure the power of a high vis vest goes to their heads.

Wayne if you're reading this, you're an absolute melt 😉

I've had countless run ins with em over the years.
Am sure majority of em were bullied in school, can't get a job as a traffic warden/copper.

Absolutely.

Some great stewards at the ground. There are some doing it for the wrong reasons.

Well done yesterday SCFC gates to get out safely back open but ….. walkways away still in darkness and then when reaching the dual carriageway police stopping you walking up it (no cars on it so it’s safe) this then meant being kettled into the small walkway down onto the Rossi road through the traffic lights. Yesterday in amongst the hundreds trying to go down that way were 2 persons on mobility scooters which was difficult for them. Why week after week are the exits away from the ground being changed. Police said club decisions is this right

Police stopped me walking down the dual carriageway side that heads towards Hafod so I walked on the other side of the dual carriageway to the Coopers. It looked like I was the only one who tried that (& succeeded).

A ridiculous situation trying to send thousands on a narrow, car filled street rather than walk down an empty closed dual carriageway. Asking for an accident to happen and highly dangerous.
