It was like one of the top Premier teams playing us in the FA Cup. We started well but fell in to their pattern. Whether that was our doing or a measure of the quality is not really open to question.

We competed, we caused them issues in the handful of times we attacked but that could have easily been 6 or 7 if they had their finishing boots on.

It was a good experience for us today, we kept battling and we had a chance to make them pay for their poor finishing.

Good team. Crap support though. I’ve never heard so little noise from an away sell out. The 97 (or however many it was) from Northampton in the cup were more enthusiastic.

They eventually woke up a bit after they went in front, but overall it was one of the worst away fan showings this season. What’s the point of travelling if you sit there in silence for half the game?

Great team but we held our own for a large part, trick now is to keep that level of performance going forward.

Duff was saying before the game that he thinks they’re better than Burnley were last year. On that evidence, I’d agree. Burnley were extremely solid. Leicester seem just as solid and win their one-on-ones, but seem to have more options going forward. And pace. Not just individual pace, but they move the ball forward quickly too. Probably the best Championship side I’ve seen down here since the season Newcastle we’re in the Championship.
