We rely on loan signings. Our football is passive, safe and we rely on scoring first to win a game.

Our owners aren’t interested. Name me a club in the Championship who gets promoted with loan signings and then progresses as a strong Premier League club?

What exactly is our long term plan? Some of our fans are deluded. We aren’t getting back to the big time anytime soon. We are a lower midtable Championship side and will be for years to come unless the parasites who run the club sell up.

We’ve made 5/6 permanent signings with Martin and we’ve got 2 on half season loans? Wouldn’t say we’re solely relying on loans like big Stevie C did.

Why are they parasites?

They've milked millions out of the club mun. OK, nobody has ever produced the slightest hint of evidence to the contrary in five years and there's no trace of it in the accounts, and we've spent more than most other Championship sides in the last year or two despite Covid, but it's obvious innit?

The Championship is a really tough league with often 3 matches in 7 days and long periods of travel.

I find it much more enjoyable than our final seasons in PL where we were frequently thrashed and often played for a point or a damage limitation loss (that first game of season away at St Mary’s when PC set us up for a 0-0 draw still irks me).

This is reality football - tough league, tough sides, tough schedule. Somewhere there is a magic ingredient- look at Blackburn now - or look at the total opposite when we turned up at Wembley last summer and played Cooperball without a single shot at goal. We had our chance and p155ed it against wall.

Yes I love getting smashed 4-1 at home by Nottm Forest instead. Fun times.

Who needs the Premier League? Scraping 1-0 wins against the mighty Preston is much more riveting.

So you’d rather get battered in the premier league that win games in the championship? And “scraped” a win against Preston? Give over ffs!

A 1-0 win against a solid championship side on a very good run is a win win in my book actually 👌

That 1-0 win against Preston is looking a little more impressive tonight...

Well I wasn't wrong was I?

We're just a mediocre team with a League One manager. We'll just float around in midtable for the next few years because our owners, fans and board aren't ambitious enough.

We'll always have the amazing memories of Wembley against Reading & Bradford. But right now, and as of tomorrow, we're going nowhere fast - just like our football under Pep Lite.
